The poem on the above layout is difficult to read so I have copied the text portion here to make it easier for you to view.
Without You This pain I feel is a forever pain It's not something that goes away It starts the moment that I open my eyes And eats at my heart all day. The emptiness I feel inside The vacuum of my soul The endless days of loneliness Without you, I'm not whole. The sunshine ignites my sorrow I find comfort in the dark I embrace the blackness As pain tears my world apart The colorless void of my being Makes no sense to me Without you to share my life There is no reason to be. I need to find the answer I know it's there to find Sorrow clouds my thinking While agony makes me blind. As the sun rises on a new day I can only wonder why It was you who had to suffer When it was me who really died. - ©Shirley Susan Baker, 2007
